Villa Valmarana ai Nani is composed of three buildings, the Palazzina (Owners' Residence) built in 1669, the Foresteria (Guest-House) and the Scuderia (Stables) built in 1720. They are embraced by a large historical park with rose gardens, a "giardino all'italiana" with its open air theatre and well, a double hornbeams alley terminating with a statue of Neptune.

I was married in Mira, Italy, (just outside Venice) in 2015, and we hosted our wedding reception at Villa Valmarana. The Villa is truly magical, and was such an unforgettable place to host our special day. From the architecture, to the frescoes, to the historic furnishings, and every little detail, the immaculate gardens, its every detail.

Villa Valmarana ai Nani in Vicenza is a beautiful Venetian style villa. Located on the slopes of a hill, it is only 5 minutes by car from the city center. The main building (Palazzetto) was built around 1670. Later a barchessa (barn), a guesthouse and other annexes were added. The architect was Francesco Muttoni, a scholar of Palladio's work.
